I love this pattern! It gives you a full tam or beret. It was a bit difficult to judge the correct size based on the written instructions (why I didn’t give it 5 stars). I ended up making 2 berets because the first one was too tight to fit correctly, and didn’t give a big enough cap. The second time I made the extra large, using almost 2 full skeins of Cascade 220. Once I felted it, it was a bit too big around the brim, but it gave me the cap size I wanted. If you have an average head, go with the large to get the fit and size you want. It is way better than the other patterns I found and gives a good feel and size for the perfect beret or tam. Definitely worth the money to buy.
